Our most popular is the Slide-On style. They simply slide over your existing mirror and tighten down. They include non-scratch pads and are fully adjustable. In addition to that, a simple and cost effective upgrade is a cushioned shank. The shank is the part that slides into your hitch, that everything else bolts to. With a cusioned shank, Polyurethane pads are installed that dampen vibration, reduce banging, and provide a much smoother ride quality. If you're not using weight distribution, we also offer a whole line of cushioned ball mounts. If you tow a fifth wheel, We offer a cushioned pin box from Mor/ryde. It replaces your existing pinbox and provides optimum ride quality by reducing chucking and vibration. Click here for more info. It is important to ensure that you're not overloading your vehicle's suspension. When you tow a trailer, the stock suspension may not be strong enough to take the abuse of several hundred pounds(or more) of tongue weight. If a spring were to break while towing, it would likely cause a catastrophic loss of control and possible roll over. Thats why we decided to offer the Ride-Rite/Sport-Rite Air Bag Supplemental Suspension System. Large "bags" filled with air work in conjunction with your vehicles suspension to add increased strenght as well as providing a better ride quality while towing. Modifying your springs(helper springs) or adding coils will cause a permanent stiffening of your suspension, causing poor ride quality while not towing.With this system, however, you control the stiffness by simply adjusting the pressure in the bags, just like checking your tire pressure.
